Welcome to the Training Grant Application

The May 25, 2016, NIH training grant submission requires a new set of data tables. M-Train has not been modified to reflect the changes. M-Train will produce NIH Table 2, 3 and 4 when you bring your participating faculty list up-to-date in M-Train. However, Table 4 is not in the correct format and requires additional data.

Pending grants are no longer shown in M-Train since they are not included in new NIH Table 4.

For table 8, Program Outcomes, the NIH x-TRACT web application may be used to enter the information instead of entering the data into the Word template. The support data for pre-docs and post-docs for Table 8 are available.

To request data, send an email to with the title of your training grant and the sponsor award number. It is most helpful if you can identify the trainees with a list of either emplids or unique names.
